Courier escrow on Manga Pak: packing and unpacking video

When courier applies

Pick courier when you and the other person cannot meet, or when you want Manga Pak to hold payment until the buyer Accepts delivery. Courier listings show Courier · Escrow so everyone knows funds sit with the platform during transit.

What escrow covers

For courier orders, Manga Pak:

1. Holds the buyer’s payment after checkout
2. Lets the seller ship with courier + tracking (packing video is optional self-protection)
3. Lets the buyer Accept delivery to release funds — no video upload required on the happy path
4. If something is wrong, either party opens a dispute and must attach at least one packing or unpacking video for review

We do not watch every trade video. Ops only reviews evidence when a dispute is opened.

Protect yourself with videos (optional on happy path)

Record packing and unpacking videos. Keep them on your phone. You only need to upload them if something goes wrong — or save them to the order ahead of time for self-protection.

Packing tips (sellers)

• Film continuously — no jumps that hide swaps
• Show the sealed or clearly identified item, then the box, padding, and tape close
• Include the listing title or order context on screen if you can
• Keep lighting decent; phone audio is fine

A clear packing video is your best defense if a buyer claims the wrong item was sent.

Unpacking tips (buyers)

• Film as you open the outer packaging, then the item
• Show damage, missing volumes, or mismatches while still recording
• Compare against listing photos before you Accept
• If anything is off, open a dispute with your video instead of Accepting
