How it works
Peer hub for Pakistan collectors and creators. List, browse, trade, and share. No warehouse inventory.
Courier escrow
Happy path for nationwide shipping. Buyers pay a 5% buyer fee on top of the listing price (Pricing is the fee authority). Meetup · cash skips escrow entirely.
- Pay — on the order page, tap Pay here. The first message already has the pay total and account rails (EasyPaisa / SadaPay). Transfer there, then share a receipt screenshot in that chat. Rails are never on the public order page, and you do not fill a separate payment form.
- MangaPak confirms — staff verify the transfer manually before funds are held (soft launch — not an automated JazzCash / Easypaisa / bank API)
- Seller ships — the seller packs and ships (MangaPak does not ship). They add courier + tracking on the order page; you see it there
- You confirm once — when it arrives and looks right, tap “I received it and it looks good” (one button; receive and accept are the same step)
- Seller gets paid — listing amount releases after that confirm
For sellers
Escrow listing path in short:
- List with Escrow · Courier enabled (and city / price in PKR)
- Wait for MangaPak to confirm the buyer’s payment (buyer pays from payment-chat rails, not from a public order page)
- Add payout details so admin can pay you after the buyer confirms
- Ship yourself and add courier name + tracking number on the order page (MangaPak does not arrange shipping)
- Buyer taps “I received it and it looks good” once (receive + accept are merged)
- Admin pays out the listing amount to your details
Buy & sell
Sellers list manga, books, merch, local artists work, and art with a city and price in PKR. Buyers filter by category and city, then open a listing to buy. Meetup is for same-city cash handoffs; courier is for nationwide shipping with escrow.
Community
Community is for news, announcements, and the want-to-buy (WTB) board: looking-for posts with optional city and budget. It is not a marketplace checkout path. WTB posts never become orders until someone creates a real listing.
Local artists
Local artists has four tabs: Showcase (art drops), Hobby wall (share for fun — never checkout), Support local mangaka (paid comics / volumes via the Local artists category), and Open for commissions. Creators upload comics through Sell with category Local artists.
Commissions
Artists list commission offers (portraits, character sheets, covers). You pay with escrow (same confirm step), the artist delivers a file or link with notes, you Accept delivery, and funds release. Use on-order notes or MangaPak chat to coordinate.
Escrow & disputes
Soft launch: on courier orders you tap Pay here from the order page — the first message already lists the pay total and account rails. Account numbers stay in that private thread only (never on the public order or listing). You transfer to MangaPak; staff confirm payment manually (not an automated JazzCash / Easypaisa / bank API). Flow: you pay from the chat seed → share a receipt in Pay here → MangaPak confirms → the seller ships and adds courier + tracking on the order page (MangaPak does not ship) → you tap “I received it and it looks good” once → seller gets paid. Funds are held only after confirmation, then release on that confirm. Record packing and unpacking videos for your own protection; upload them only if something goes wrong. Opening a dispute requires at least one evidence video. Meetup never uses escrow: you meet in person and settle cash offline — read Meetup safety.
